DIE CAST PRESS www.diecastpress.com In July of 2005, DIE CAST PRESS went live with their new website. They were experiencing about 3,119 total hits, two-thirds of which were the result of someone typing in their URL address directly. Only about 200 visits were referred to DIE CAST PRESS from search engines. This is mostly because they were nowhere to be seen on the results of search engines. As a result of Page One Rankings optimization efforts, DIE CAST PRESS in January of 2007 experienced 14,764 total hits, only half of which are a result of someone directly typing in their URL address directly. On Google, Yahoo!, AOL and MSN, they are listed on the first page, usually within the first three websites listed, and often with multiple listings on the first page. They have received a 473% increase in traffic and those visitors to their site stayed longer and viewed more pages. They are more qualified buyers of their products and are more likely to request product literature or a quotation. Check for yourself where they place on Google for keywords diecast machines, die cast remanufacturing, used die cast machines, trim press, die cast machines, and hot chamber shot ends. In March of 2007, as a result of Page One Rankings optimizations efforts, DIE CAST PRESS is now located on Google and Yahoo in the top 4 listings of the first page for a majority of the pay-per-click keywords on which they were bidding. Therefore, because they no longer have to bid on those keywords, DIE CAST PRESS is able to save 89% of their pay-per-click budget per month!
Midwife, Barb Rudell, asked for a website that would
make women aware of their child birthing choices in
southwest Michigan. She offered one of the only
water birthing sights in the state. Not only did she need
a website, but she also needed it to come up on the first
page of search engine results when someone searched for
"michigan water birth" and several other terms. Several months after
their website went live, they were placing in the fourth spot for their
desired keywords. (Ms. Rudell has since relocated to California
and no longer offers child birthing in Michigan.)
FIRST IMPRESSION LANDSCAPING
As a company with a new website, First Impression Landscaping needed
their online presence inflated right away. Within months of
first publishing their website, they were ranking on the first page for
"kalamazoo sea walls" (oftentimes
dominating the first THREE spots of the search engine results page),
"shoreguard seawalls" (one of the the product they install) as
well as geo-targeted key phrases like
"landscaping kalamazoo" . Their company received an
average of 6 new leads per week during the landscaping season, one of
which on an average turned into a chance to provide the customer with a
written quotation. The average net income earned from their optimization
efforts was $3500 per month. Their optimization expense was
returned to them within the first year alone. By the third year,
they eliminated their yellow pages advertising entirely because every client they
obtained came as a result of their internet advertising and search
engine optimization. Getting listed on the first page of a search engine results is
impressive enough with hundreds of thousands of competing websites, but
Page One Rankings helped Paragon Custom Homes gain control of the
search engine results page for the term
"kalamazoo custom homes". Notice on the
attached screen shot how many results are in purple. Of the 10
organic and local listings, Paragon Custom Homes appears in FIVE of
them.
They are listed first in the Google Maps section (notice the red, "A"
stickpin), their website is listed in the 3RD organic position, their
yellow page ad appears in the 6TH position, they are listed in the home
builders association which appears in the the 9TH position, and they
also appear in the industry directory listed in the 10TH position.
That's positioning. No matter where in the organic listing the
browser looks, there's a 50% chance they will come across Paragon's
website. This was all accomplished two months after the
website was built! Prior to teaming up with Page One Rankings, SKP Design only showed up
in the search engine results for their own business name. After six
months of optimization, they are now appearing on the first page for key
phrases like
"kalamazoo interior designer" and
"restaurant design kalamazoo". The number of new visitors
to their website has increased 52%. The average visitor stays for
a longer period of time and more people are accessing the "Contact Us"
page to get their phone number. Levi had a website that had been built for him several years back that just wasn't converting as well as it could. Additionally, it wasn't
ranking anywhere near the top of the search engines results pages. Page One Rankings gave the website a slight facelift and optimized the
site to appear on the first page of Google and Yahoo for key phrases like
"michigan tenant representative". We also targeted
long-tail keyword phrases such as "commercial property for lease in troy
MI", "commercial buildings for lease in canton, MI" and "warehouse space
ann arbor" We initiated a pay-per-click
(PPC) campaign to immediately place on the first page for keywords while
the organic optimization moved his website up in the natural (non-PPC)
rankings. As a result of the work Page One Rankings put into Levi's
website, after the third month, it became apparent that Levi would earn
back his initial SEO investment ten-fold. In Levi's own words, "I'm now a believer!" Polaris caters to the pharmaceutical industry, helping them decrease
time to market by drastically decreasing the chances of the FDA finding
fault with their methods. When they were first referred to Page
One Rankings, they ranked well for only their business name. Upon
project completion, their 23 page website was ranking on the fist page
of Google and/or Yahoo for 26 of their most coveted industry terms -
terms like
"gcp audit",
"csv auditing",
"21 cfr part 111 consultant",
and
"handbook of sop's for good clinical practice" While these may sound like incredibly
obscure terms to you and I, they brought highly targeted traffic to the
website. In fact, their website traffic grew 350% in just a few
short months. The idea is no longer to cast a wide net and try to market
to everyone, but to zero in on your niche market and put yourself in
their path at the precise time they're looking for your services.
What did we do with the extra traffic obtained through appearing on
the first page of the search engines? We offered a white paper
download to capture the email addresses of their visitors for further
marketing. They are now assembling a list of recipients who are actively
interested in their services to whom they can market their expertise.
